I just got the call from Disney offering me a job at the Polynesian Hotel and Grand Floridian Hotel for children's activities. This job is sooooo perfect for me. I can't wait to start. I had to apply to Disney online and then in about 4 days I got the notice for first interview, which I had to schedule four days later. The first interview went really well and I was sent on to a second interview with the children's activites department, which I did yesterday. That interview went really well too, so well that I got a call today to work for them! I just am so excited and ready to be a part of the Disney family. I will be doing so many activities like pirate cruises, alice in wonderland tea parties, birthday parties, pool games, dance/karoke parties, movies on the beach every night, and working in the child centers where they have video games, art, dinner buffet, and much more! I can't wait to make Disney magic and spread the Pixie Dust to all those children. The Polynesian Hotel child center is called The Neverland Club and it is themed like different scenes of Peter Pan. The Polynesian Hotel itself is Disney's Hawaiian themed resort and Grand Floridian is a fancy fancy Victorian resort.
I get a Disney nametag, which is going to be a prized possession for me, and the best benefit ever...unlimited free admission into all Disney Parks! Good thing I live close, because I will be frequenting the parks quite often. I am glad I am working at the resorts, not the park because I will be going to the parks in my free time. I just can't believe that my dreams are coming true. I never thought I would get here and it's just been such a long process and such an emotional rollercoaster. I just wished for this so much and now it's happening. I can't wait to start living this amazing dream!
